To reset your Typepad account password, click the Forgot your password? link on the Typepad sign in page.
Enter the email address associated with your Typepad account. If the email address you enter matches an account, a password reset link will be sent to the email address.
The email address you entered can't be found in the Typepad system. If you receive this error message, the email address you entered is not associated with any current Typepad account. Try to enter your email address again making sure the email address is using the correct capitalization or try a different email address.
When you receive the password reset email, click on the included link and you will be taken to a page where you can reset your password.
Type your new password once in the first box and again in the second box to confirm. The password you enter will be automatically masked by asterisks *** so it cannot be viewed in your browser. Once you enter the password and confirm it, you will be logged into your account.
If you registered with an external account, like Facebook or Twitter, you will need to retrieve your password from the external account you used to register. Or you can add a password for your account to allow you to sign in using your email address and password.
If you are unable to log into your account, believe your email address to be compromised, or cannot complete a password reset, click here to contact Typepad support via email. Please be sure to include your account details and a description of the issue you're seeing.
