Weblog Tags

Weblog tags display information about your weblog. Most of these options are set on the Configuration tab, or when you created your account or weblog.

TypePad Tags for Displaying Weblog Information:

Your weblog name = <$MTBlogName$>

Your weblog description = <$MTBlogDescription$>

Your weblog ID number = <$MTBlogID$>

Your weblog language = <$MTBlogLanguage$>

Your weblog URL, in the form: http://example.typepad.com/blog/ = <$MTBlogURL$>

Your weblog archive URL, in the form: http://example.typepad.com/blog/ = <$MTBlogArchiveURL$>

Your weblog hostname, in the form: example.typepad.com = <$MTBlogHost$>

Your weblog's relative URL, in the form: /blog/ = <$MTBlogRelativeURL$>

Your weblog directory, in the form: blog = <$MTBlogDirname$>

Your weblog site path, in the form: blog/ = <$MTBlogSitePath$>

The number of posts in your weblog = <$MTBlogEntryCount$>

The number of comments posted to your weblog = <$MTBlogCommentCount$>

Container Tags

MTBlogIfPrivate: <MTBlogIfPrivate>: If your weblog is set to not be public, the contents of this container tag will be displayed

MTBlogIfCCLicense: <MTBlogIfCCLicense>: If your weblog has a Creative Commons License, the contents of this container tag will be displayed

This container tag can be used to display the following information:

The URL for the Creative Commons License you've chosen = <$MTBlogCCLicenseURL$>

The image for Creative Commons Licenses = <$MTBlogCCLicenseImage$>

Adds Creative Commons code in your page header = <$MTCCLicenseRDF$>
