You can display your photo albums in your weblog sidebar by adding the albums to your weblog template. Your albums will be displayed in alphabetical order by album title, and a thumbnail version of the most recent image uploaded to the album will be displayed along with the album title. Both the thumbnail and the album title will link to your album.
Note: This feature is not available if you are using a Mixed Media Template. Instead, you can use a TypeList to display your photo albums on these templates.
If you haven’t set up an album yet, you can do this by Creating a New Photo Album.
Public albums will display in the album listing for the weblog sidebar. Set the publicity of an album with the “Make this photo album public” option when Setting Your Album Preferences.
On your Weblogs tab, click the
Edit Design shortcut for the weblog where you would like to add the links to your albums. Then, click the Content link for your currently selected template set to enter the Content area for the template.
On the Content page, under the “Your Sidebar Content” heading, click the checkbox next to “Your Photo Albums”. Note: If you do not have the option for “Your Photo Albums” then make sure that you have at least one public album by Setting Your Album Preferences.
Alternatively, you can select individual photo albums for display in your sidebar and then arrange them on your weblog independently of each other. Visit Your Photo Albums in the Weblogs Design section to learn more.
Press the button and Your Photo Albums will now appear in your weblog sidebar, and any new albums that you add will automatically appear there as well. The list displays alphabetically by album title.
Photo Albums are added to a weblog advanced template using the Album Tags (advanced templates do not have a Content link on the Design tab).

You can also add photo albums to your weblog sidebar using a Link TypeList (it doesn’t matter if the album is set as a public album or not then). See Additional Uses for Link TypeLists for tips on this.
