Customizing Your Album Layout

On your Photo Albums tab, click the Edit DesignEdit Design shortcut for the album that you would like design, then click the Layout link to enter the Layout setup area.

The Layout determines the type of cover page and photo pages your album will have.

Your Photo Album Cover Page

The photo album cover page is the first page that will appear in your photo album. Choose the display you would like for the cover of your album:

Thumbnails only

Set the number of columns to display the thumbnails and the thumbnail options by Setting Your Album Preferences.

Thumbnails with descriptions

Set the thumbnail options by Setting Your Album Preferences.

Photo and introduction

Enter the Description/Introduction and cover image for your album by Setting Your Album Preferences.

No cover page

About: No cover page will be created, and your album will begin with the first photo in your album.
Why use it: If you want more of a slideshow feel to your album.
Works best with: Numeric navigation with two columns.

Your Photo Pages

Photo pages are the pages created for each individual photo in your album. Choose the type of photo pages you would like to use for your album:

Thumbnails and photo page

Photo page with one column layout

cover

Photo page with two column layout

cover

No photo pages

cover

About: No surrounding HTML is created and photos are displayed directly in the browser.
Why use it: If your photos are very large in dimension, or you don’t want navigation between the photos.
Works best with: A photo album page that contains thumbnails.


After selecting your layout, click the Save Changes button to apply the new layout to your album. Your layout will be saved, and your photo album will be republished.

Customizing Your Album Content

On your Photo Albums tab, click the Edit DesignEdit Design shortcut for the album that you would like customize, then click the Content link to enter the Content setup area.

The Content for the album sets the information that displays on the pages.

Items are selected by default that work best with your layout selection. You can select or deselect the items you would like to show:

Your Photo Album Cover Page

Photo Album Description
Album Cover Image

Your Photo Pages

Photo Album Title
Photo Title
Photo Caption
Location
Date Taken
Date Uploaded
EXIF Data

After selecting your content, click the Save Changes button to apply the new settings to your album. Your content changes will be saved, and your photo album will be republished.

Customizing Your Album Style

On your Photo Albums tab, click the Edit DesignEdit Design shortcut for the album that you would like customize, then click the Style link to enter the Style setup area.

The Style sets the color and design for the album. Use the drop-down menu to choose a style. After selecting your style, sample screenshots will appear below the menu.

When you have selected the style you would like to use, click the Save Changes button to apply the new style to your album. Your style changes will be saved, and your photo album will be republished.

Selecting an Existing Album Design

On the Design tab for the album, use the Select a different design drop-down menu to select and use an existing design.

This will copy the layout, content, and style settings into the current photo album. You will then be prompted to publish your album with its new design.
